Main Lobby: Options

The main screen of Virtue Poker has several options.  We'll discuss each option separately.  There are two views to choose from.  List and Quick Seat.

List View:  Shows the available options for both SNG and cash game tables.  Simply select the option you're interested in and click Join Game at bottom right of your lobby.

Quick Seat:  Shows the available options to pre-select prior to joining a game.

Select Game Type

Select the type of game you would like to play by clicking on each preferred option.  Once you've selected each preferred option drop down the blinds option to select how much you're willing to spend.  All buyins to each game type are 10x the Big Blind.  

In the above screen shot the following have been selected:

Format:  Cash Game

Type:  Hold'em

Limit:  No Limit

Seats:  6 Seats

Currency:  VPP

Blinds:  10/20 VPP (Buyin is 10x the BB so:  20x10=buyin)

Be sure to verify the buyin amount for each game type as there may be multiple options for each game type and limit selected.

Top Level Selections

Edit: 

  • undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, select all

Accounts:  

  • Cashier - this will take you to the cashier section.  The cashier section will be discussed in the Cashier section of this guide.
  • Game History - Lists all games played - note only the last 500 games will be listed.  For a full list of all games played click the download button or request email button.
  • View recovery phrase - In order to review your recovery phrase you will need to enter your Virtue Poker password.  Once done you'll see your recovery phrase and the order in which the phrase should be entered.  If you ever switch computers this will assist you in doing so.
  • Update source of funds - If you would like to change your external source of funds please read this guide for instructions Update Source of Funds
  • Transaction history - This section will show you all deposits and withdrawals.  You can also request a download or email with the data as well.
  • Self-exclusion - You have the option to temporarily or permanently suspend your play.  Do so here.
  • Update source of funds - you can change your ETH wallet at any time.  Make sure your wallet allows the use of ERC-20 tokens and is NOT an exchange.  Email support@virtue.poker to make the change.
  • Log Out - this will close Virtue Poker and end your session

Settings:

  • Gameplay Preferences
    • Automuck Losing Cards
    • Bet Slider Jump to Click Behaviour
    • Deck colour preference
    • Do not ask to show hand when winning pot uncontested:  Set to on if you do not want your winning hand shown.  This only applies if there are no all-in players at the table.  Set to off if you would like the option of showing your winning hand.
    • Show folded cards on mouse hover:  Set to on if you would like to see a shadow of your cards after you've folded your hand.  Set to off if you do not want to see your folded cards.
    • Sound Alert

Actions:

  • Open registered tournaments.  Use this feature if you incorrectly close your SNG table.

Responsible Gambling:

  • Responsible Gambling Policy - read up on your options if you feel you may be at risk of problem gaming.
  • Reality checks - You can choose to be notified by our system.  Options range from one (1) to six (6) hours.  Select the time frame and when hit a pop-up screen will notify you of the time you've been playing.  You can then decide to continue or quit playing.

Window:

  • Minimize:  This will shrink the main lobby only.  All game tables will remain untouched.
  • Close:  This will close the main lobby only.  All game tables will remain untouched.

Cashier:  

There are two options to open the cashier, at the top of the lobby click Account/Cashier, or the Cashier button at the top right of the lobby.

  • Balances:  This view shows your total VPP and ETH balance of your external source of funds and of the available current Virtue Poker balance.  
  • Deposit VPP/ETH/etc.:  Instructions for depositing from your external source of funds account.
  • Deposit Limits:  Shows the deposit limit options.  To increase your deposit limit contact support.
  • Withdraw VPP/ETH/etc.:  Instructions for withdraw of VPP or ETH to your external source of funds.
  • Withdraw Limits:  Shows the withdraw limits currently available to you.  To increase the withdraw limits contact support.
