When you created your Ethereum account, you were provided with a recovery phrase that allows the network to rebuild your private key. This is similar to the way you recover a lost password. The Virtue Poker service uses this same architecture to secure your account.
When registering an account with us you are given two options for securing your recovery phrase - Manage your own, or allow us to assist you. Read this article for further details on the options provided at sign-up.
Regardless of the option you choose at sign-up, we recommend that all players back-up their recovery phrase.
Step 1: Log-in to the Virtue Poker application, click "Account" and then click "View my recovery phrase"
Step 2: Enter your password (your password is the same password you use to log-in to the application)
Step 3: Back-Up your recovery phrase. We recommend writing it down on a piece of paper and storing it in a secure place. If you choose to download it to your computer make sure you store it securely to prevent a hacker from gaining access to it.
