Some antivirus and anti-malware software will object to installing the Virtue Poker client. This is because one of the primary checks that such software performs is "How often has this software been installed?" Obviously, since we just launched, our software hasn't been installed very often, so warnings may be triggered.
If you see a warning from your antivirus or anti-malware software, there will be an option that allows you to instruct the installer to install the software anyway. If you're using Windows Defender, which is built into Windows, you will see something that looks like the following. Click "Run anyway" to continue.
Norton Antivirus and its variants will generate something that looks like the following (yours may be slightly different depending on what variant of Norton Antivirus you have). Check the "Always allow this file" box and click "Run this program anyway."
If you have issues installing the client with your antivirus or anti-malware software, email support@virtue.poker and make sure to tell us what antivirus and anti-malware software you're using.
