If you receive this error message when trying to launch the client here are a few things to try:
- Check to see if you’re behind a proxy or corporate network. This is a common source of this problem.
- Close and restart the application.
- Restart your computer.
If you’ve attempted/corrected all of the above and are still receiving the disconnect error, email us and include the log file. Your log file can be found:
On Mac OS and Linux: ~/.virtue_poker_electron/clientLog.log
On Windows: C:/Users/[computer login name]/.virtue_poker_electron/clientLog.log
